Works fine, great starter kitMay 27, 2010 Unless you're filming things for money, this should be more than enough to keep you busy. Some very modest chromatic aberration is typically present, with some vignetting on or two corners if the lens isn't securely screwed in. Unbeatable for the price if you just need a little more field of view or zoom for the odd amateur shot. Cleaning kit seemed like a throwaway but turned out to be surprisingly effective.
A lot of items for a very little money; would not reccommend.Nov 08, 2009 I can not deny that you get an amazing amount of things for a very low price, which should have told me something. Many reviewers said that with the wide angle, because of seeing the side of the lense through your camera, you had to zoom in to the point where you could no longer see the sides, but you were then narrower than if you did not have the lense on. This is true.
The little tripod is nifty though. I do not use either of the lenses.

Great for the money, just don't expect the best.Sep 15, 2009 To start, two lenses and a cleaning kit for the price of a cleaning kit is amazing and does greatly increase the capability of your camera. However, if you are wanting to receive the best quality for your digital camera purchase from the name brand but it may cost anywhere from $60 to $340 per lens, sometimes it's worth it but in most cases it's not.
.5x Wide Angle Lens - This lens pleasantly surprised me. It does exactly what I wanted it to do, its great to use with a car mount and is ideal for landscapes. It works well with my camera and it only goes out of focus if you zoom in x2 or more, but if you're zooming all that much you probably shouldn't be using a wide angle in the first place.
2x telephoto Lens - This one is nothing more than acceptable, you once again cannot zoom as much as you regularly could, which is odd considering that's what it's supposed to enhance and you get about 1.5x the regular zoom rather than 2x before it gets blurry. But you have to remember, you paid $15 for this so you're still definitely getting your moneys worth. However, if you're purchasing this just to have a good telephoto lens, spend a little extra money.
7 Piece Digital Camera Necessity Kit - A few very basic yet great things to have if you own a camera, I don't really have anything all that good or bad to say about it, its just flat out basic and in my mind a nice bonus.
cheap lenses, you get what you pay for.Sep 14, 2009 Cheap lenses cause quite a bit of distortion. If you're not real picky, will do the job at a budget price. If you want quality, you'd be better off buying something else.

Great for the priceJan 31, 2009 Surprised at the quality of the wide angle lens. On my vixia hf10 it works very well. A real bargain! The 2x lens has a tunnel effect when zoomed back. Buy this at a fraction of the cost of the cannon wide angle and just throw the 2x lens away. The little tripod is cute but fairly limited use as the camera wants to tip over easily. It does work well with my digital still point and shoot. You can't go too far wrong for the price.
